Dr. Armstrong received his DDS from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago and has been practicing dentistry since 1987. A firm believer in continuing education and a personal commitment to excellence, Dr. Armstrong has also received a Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. The Mastership is the highest honor available in the Academy and one of the most respected designations in the profession.

He served in the US Army and Army National Guard as a Sergeant, and later promoted to Captain as a Dental Officer. Dr. Armstrong’s personal interest include theater. He has held parts in Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors and Foreigner with the Northland Players, as well as participated in the Rivertown Follies where he was President of the group. He is a Knights of Columbus member and served in various positions including Grand Knight, chairperson of the membership and vocations committees, and is chairperson for a major fundraising project. He was on the finance council of his church, St. Mary’s/St. Charles Catholic Church, capping his six year term as President. He also enjoys fishing, bird hunting and reading.
He married his college sweetheart, Gerri, and together they are the proud parents of daughters Monica and Paige.
